Liquid Bacteria

LSB7003X - Pediococcus

Pediococcus is a lactic acid bacteria with a strong acidifying power despite its low acidification speed. It has good tolerance to hops (25 IBU and less). Its diacetyl synthesis is such that it must be used in mixed fermentation with active Saccharomyces or Brettanomyces. We recommend a pitch rate of 0.5L of bacteria per hectoliter of wort or beer to sour.

A minimum purchase of 3 units (3 liters) is required.
