PARTNERSHIP WITH THE USINE-ÉCOLE SIBOIRE
UNIVERSITY OF SHERBROOKE
The Faculty of Engineering of the University of Sherbrooke founded the Usine-École Siboire, a hybrid between a campus and a small-scale brewery whose mission is to carry out training, research and development activities in an industrial production environment.
USINE-ÉCOLE'S GOAL
It allows students to get involved in research projects or internships to acquire practical knowledge related to their field of study. Beer, cider, kombucha and, in a later phase, spirits will be produced.
PARTNERSHIP WITH VERGER DE L'ÉVOLUTION
LE SEMOIR
Le Verger de l’Évolution is a three-year educational program offered to students in grades 4, 5 and 6 in the Côte-du-Sud region. It offers 15 environmental education workshops in the fields of science, technology and arts.
LE SEMOIR'S GOAL
This cutting-edge school program aims to equip our youth with the tools to deal with climate change. It seeks to prepare tomorrow’s eco-citizens to meet the sociology-environmental challenges that lie ahead.
PARTNERSHIP OF PROGRAMME MITACS
Given our interest in circular economy, we are working with a student in environmental engineering at the École de Technologie Supérieure de Montréal. As part of her master's project, she is characterizing our co-products from the making of yeast with the goal of adding value to them while reducing our environmental footprint.
