Service - Genetic analysis

We can carry out genetic analyses to detect various contaminants. Three categories of analysis are possible: classic yeasts, atypical yeasts and bacteria.

Enrichment may be required during analysis, at a cost of $20 per sample.

CLASSIC YEASTS CAN DETECT

  • Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. diastaticus/Dekkera spp.; 
  • Candida spp./Pichia spp./Wicherhamomyces anomalus.


ATYPICAL YEASTS CAN DETECT

  • Saccharomyces spp. with diastatic activity; 
  • Saccharomyces spp.; 
  • Dekkera/Brettanomyces spp.


BACTERIA CAN DETECT

  • Lactobacillus spp./Pediococcus spp.;
  • Acetobacter spp./Gluconobacter spp./Bacillus spp.
