GERMAN Liquid Yeasts

LSB4003 - Cologne I

Originally from the Cologne region, this strain is known for producing relatively neutral and hoppy blonde and amber ales inspired by German styles. It develops slight sulfur notes that will fade during fermentation and conditioning. When fermented at cooler temperatures, it enhances bitterness and hop character, giving the beers a profile reminiscent of lagers.

Escarpment Laboratories strain equivalency is Kolsch Ale.
