Designed for top-fermenting German-style beers, this yeast strain from the region of Cologne is used to produce relatively neutral blond and red ales which highlight hop aromas. Producing light notes of sulfur, which will fade out during fermentation and aging. Beers made with this yeast will have a profile similar to lagers.
